 Overview

The Pet Door Design conversion system frame is built from fusion welded vinyl. It comes complete with thermal pane safety glass and a quality pet door, sized to fit your pet, already installed. No additional fasteners, brackets or clamps are needed. No cutting or drilling!  

The Patio Door 4Pets - Clear Vu is a full thermal pane safety insulated glass panel with the cut out for your size pet at the same size and thickness as your existing glass door panel.

 

Your Patio Door 4 Pets insert will:

  • Allow your sliding door to slide, lock and function the same.
  • Allow your screen to work normally.
  • Maintain your doors built in efficiency.  Weather stripping lines up and seals properly.
  • Allow Secondary locks and alarms to work without modification.
  • Maintain full unobstructed view.
  • Easy to remove. If you sell your home or no longer have a pet, the original glass can be re-installed in minutes.
  • One touch opening, the security panel easily removes when in use.  Security Panel with deadlock adds security and is weather tight when closed.  
  • National brand pet opening comes in four sizes and features an efficient magnetic closing strip to help prevent drafts. The solid aluminum frame is both durable and attractive.

  1. Measuring for the conversion system takes just a few minutes. The installer notes the width, height and thickness of the existing glass, and makes a few notes about your door. It’s also a good time to confirm the pet opening and any options you may have selected.
  2. We ship your conversion system to the installer. He’ll contact you for delivery and installation.
  3. Installation takes just a few minutes. The existing glass is removed for you to store in a safe place.
  4. The Pet Door Design insert slips into the space created by removing the old glass. The unit is secured just like the existing glass. It is both solid and attractive.

Note: Our  sequence appears simple. Glass installation requires safety precautions and should not be attempted by anyone other than a trained professional.
